Testing a scenario

There are basically 2 ways of testing a scenario:
  • Routes from A to B: You plan individual routes from A to B and manually explore how the network works.
Depending on your use case or you own methodology both of these methods are valid and have merit.
Both can be used to explore a single scenario but can also compare two scenarios by plotting the differences in routes.

Routes from A to B

You can plan routes by clicking on the map to set the two locations and then a route is planned automatically.

By default we have selected car.fast and bicycle.fast for you but you can select any other profile if you want to compare others.

Using origin-destination matrices

πŸ’‘
Matrices are available to all scenarios simultaneously.
You can add random locations by clicking the add matrix button. There is a quick how to on how to do this here.

Matrix management

Matrices are available to all scenarios simultaneously, to be able to properly compare them. Adding a matrix to scenario 0 will also make it available in scenario 1. Making a set of trips invisible on one scenario will also hide the same trips on all other scenarios.
